Sadly most of my meals were in restaurants and they usually didn't met my expectations. The few times I ate in a family home (or small family rest.) they definitely inspired my palate. Your soups are delicious as well as trying some of the guests ideas. I look forward to trying some other dishes.<br />In ref. to the person who had "grainy" lentils. Here in North America we don't use dry lentils/legumes like other countries. The stores stock pile lentils so they get old and the outside hardens which won't absorb the water as easily (organic or not). They require more cooking time. So check your source and don't leave them too long in your pantry.Martyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03960047738041666283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32011247.post-73545194596335425312018-01-15T17:36:17.067-08:002018-01-15T17:36:17.067-08:00I made this tonight and it's delicious. Other than that I cannot think of another reason why it would turn out grainy. I've attempted lots of recipes myself and have been happy with the results. However, I just made this soup because I love eating it over there and was disappointed how it turned out... it kind of had a grainy texture to it and I can't put my finger on why??? Can you give me any ideas on where I went wrong??
